This year’s meeting, themed “Healthography: How Where You Live Affects Your Health and Well-Being,” will take place in New Orleans, Nov. 15-19 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. In the spirit of exploring how health challenges are dictated by place, the Opening General Session will feature Pulitzer Prize winning author Isabel Wilkerson, who will discuss the Great Migration as addressed in her book, “The Warmth of Other Suns.” The meeting will also include a new Monday General Session featuring five former U.S. Surgeons General for a discussion on the future of health in America.
