Do you want to present at APHA’s 143rd Annual Meeting and Exposition in Chicago, Oct. 31-Nov. 4? If so, act fast!

Feb. 13 is the final day to submit abstracts for the 2015 meeting. Don’t miss the opportunity to share your work with thousands of public health professionals at the biggest public health event of the year.

Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts relating to this year’s theme, “Health in All Policies,” as well as current and emerging public health issues. Abstracts must be submitted to a specific Section; Special Primary Interest Group, or SPIG; Caucus; or Forum. Deadlines vary based on which member group you choose. Authors may present their work at oral, poster or roundtable sessions.

Visit the Annual Meeting Call for Abstracts page for a complete list of member groups and corresponding deadlines, as well as abstract requirements and submission instructions.

In addition to sharing your research with a large public health audience, presenting at the Annual Meeting allows you to enhance your resume or CV, expand career opportunities, disseminate your findings, receive feedback from colleagues and so much more. Cutting edge research presented at the Annual Meeting also has the potential to earn media coverage from U.S. and international news outlets; check out five studies from the 2014 meeting that generated headlines.
