The National Press Foundation and APHA are collaborating to host a one-day seminar today to educate reporters on the burden of diabetes in the U.S. and discuss the latest research and advocacy initiatives aimed at reducing this growing health problem. Today’s program will feature experts from the American Diabetes Assoc iation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health and APHA. Press attending today’s program will also hear from real people living with diabetes and the impact it has on their lives.
