Now that National Public Health Week 2016 has come to a close, another week of hundreds of activities and public health awareness programs is on the books. APHA, its affiliated state and regional public health associations and supporters across the country celebrated in so many ways. Here are some of our favorites.

APHA hosted a forum covering a wide range of public health topics on April 4 in Washington, D.C. Margaret Linscott, the 2014 youth advocate of the year for Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids; APHA President Camara Jones; Aetna Foundation President Garth Graham; and APHA Executive Director Georges Benjamin led the discussion on how to reach the goal of becoming the healthiest nation in one generation.
