APHA has set a goal of helping the U.S. become the healthiest nation by 2030, but how can we get there? On April 5, more than 820 participants joined in our seventh annual National Public Health Week Twitter Chat to discuss the most pressing issues affecting our nation’s health and share solutions for creating a healthier future for generations to come.

During the hourlong chat, a diverse group of public health leaders, federal agencies, members of Congress, businesses, non-profit organizations, colleges and universities, health departments and individuals shared resources, facts and ideas for improving health and well-being. The chat generated close to 4,350 tweets and made the #NPHWChat hashtag trend nationwide.
