APHA 2020’s theme is “Creating the Healthiest Nation: Preventing Violence.” Abstracts related to the meeting's theme are encouraged, but submissions about any public health issue are welcome.

Presentation formats are:

  • Oral sessions — Formal presentations followed by a Q&A segment with the audience.
  • Roundtable sessions — Engaging group discussions led by a single presenter.
  • Poster sessions — One-on-one interactions with attendees, with research and findings presented visually.

Read over the submission instructions before sending in your abstract. Everyone who submits an abstract will receive an email June 1 letting them know the status of their submission.
